The Waypoint welcomes all kinds of travelers but is best suited for solo travelers and couples. ### What are the check-in and check-out times, and are early check-ins or late check-outs available? Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are available for a fee depending on the time. ### Can I store my luggage before or after I check out? Yes. ### Can I send a package to the hotel? All packages must be sent to Ocean Glass Inn for pickup. The full name of the person picking up the package must be on the package, and a matching ID is required at pickup. ### What is the cancellation or change policy? Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance. Changes must be made 48 hours in advance. ### Does the hotel hold a pre-authorization at check-in? Yes, the hotel pre-authorizes $100 at check-in, and these funds will be released upon your check-out. Funds can take 3-5 business days to be returned, depending on your bank. ### Does the hotel offer loyalty program benefits or membership perks? Not at this time. ### Are special rates available? Yes, we offer extended stay rates, contractor rates, and discounts for military, school teachers, and first responders. ### Does the hotel accommodate large groups, weddings, or events? Yes, both properties can accommodate these. ### Does the hotel have a spa? No. ### Is the pool open all year? Yes. We partner with COAST by Hilton, and access is $10 per person. ### Is The Waypoint pet-friendly? The Waypoint is not pet-friendly. Our pet-friendly property is Ocean Glass Inn. ### Are service animals welcome, and what documentation is required? Service animals are welcome. No documentation is required, but ADA-approved questions will be asked. ## Rooms & Amenities ### Do rooms include workspaces or business-friendly features? All rooms at The Waypoint include a work desk, except for our Double rooms. ### Are hypoallergenic bedding or pillow options available? We do not use any down items at our hotels. ### Is daily housekeeping provided, and can it be customized? Housekeeping is provided upon request. ### Does my room have a mini fridge? Yes. ### Do you have room service? No. ### Are rollaway beds available? Rollaway beds are not available, but we do offer pack n plays for infants. ### What type of Wi-Fi is provided? Xfinity Wi-Fi is provided. A high-speed upgrade option is not available. ### Are smart TVs or streaming services available in guest rooms? Yes, guest rooms feature Samsung smart TVs. ### Does the hotel offer mobile check-in, digital key, or app-based services? We offer online registration and send a 4-digit PIN for room access. ### Does The Waypoint offer connecting rooms or family suites? No, The Waypoint does not offer connecting rooms or family suites. ### What amenities are available for children? Pack n plays are available. ### What accessible features are available on-site? Our Accessible Bunk Room features a roll-in shower. ## Parking, Travel & Transportation ### What is the closest airport or major transit hub? Philadelphia Airport and the Lewes/Cape May Ferry Terminal. ### Does the hotel provide shuttle or transfer services? Yes, we offer shuttles to and from the boardwalk for $5 per person per ride, or $10 per person for a round trip. ### What are the recommended local transportation options? Uber, Lyft, and DART public transit. ### Is The Waypoint within walking distance of key attractions? Yes, it is exactly 1 mile from the beach and just steps from Diego's Night Club. ### Is there valet parking? No. ### Are there EV chargers?
